Official Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: August 31, 2026

The GroundComm INOP Cable Trade-In Program (“Program”), including marketing under the name “Cash for Cables,” is administered by Elevate Aviation, LLC (“Elevate”), including its Elevate X and The Crew Hangar brands.

By submitting a trade-in request, checking the required acceptance box, shipping any item to Elevate under the Program, or redeeming a Program credit, the participant (“Participant,” “you,” or “your”) acknowledges that they have read, understand, and agree to these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”).

Participation is subject to these Terms and to Elevate’s determination of eligibility.

1. Program Purpose

The Program is designed to encourage airlines, ground service providers, aviation operators, and other participants to remove worn, damaged, unreliable, or inoperative pushback communication cables from service.

Eligible cables from any manufacturer or brand may be submitted for evaluation.

For each complete cable that Elevate determines qualifies under the Program, the Participant may receive one $25 GroundComm X30 Promotional Trade-In Credit redeemable toward the purchase of one eligible GroundComm X30 cable through TheCrewHangar.com, subject to these Terms.

Participation does not guarantee approval or issuance of any credit.

2. “Cash for Cables” Is a Marketing Term — No Cash Is Paid

“Cash for Cables” is a marketing name only.

Elevate does not pay cash, checks, ACH payments, wire transfers, cryptocurrency, reimbursement, or any other form of monetary payment in exchange for submitted cables.

No Participant is entitled to receive cash under this Program.

Approved Participants receive only a non-cash, promotional discount credit toward an eligible GroundComm X30 purchase, subject to these Terms.

The promotional credit:

  • Has no cash value;
  • Cannot be redeemed for cash;
  • Cannot be exchanged for cash;
  • Cannot be withdrawn;
  • Cannot be used as payment toward any product other than an eligible GroundComm X30;
  • Cannot be used toward shipping, taxes, fees, repairs, TOWSAFE products, headsets, apparel, accessories, or other merchandise unless Elevate expressly authorizes otherwise in writing.

3. Online Submission Is Required

All trade-ins must be registered through Elevate’s authorized online INOP Cable Trade-In portal before shipment.

Trade-ins submitted by telephone, email, mail, handwritten request, social media, or other means are not valid unless Elevate expressly authorizes an exception in writing.

Each online submission will receive a unique Submission ID.

A Submission ID:

  • Identifies the trade-in submission;
  • Is not a promotional credit;
  • Has no monetary value;
  • Does not guarantee acceptance;
  • Does not guarantee a particular credit amount.

4. Submission ID Must Be Included Inside the Shipment

The Participant must write or print the applicable Submission ID on a piece of paper and place that paper inside the shipment with the submitted cables.

This requirement allows Elevate to identify and process shipments efficiently.

Participants are also encouraged to write the Submission ID on the outside of the package.

Elevate is not responsible for processing delays, identification errors, misplaced items, or inability to associate a shipment with a Participant when the required Submission ID is not included inside the package.

Submitting a package without the required identification may delay or prevent processing.

5. Eligibility of Submitted Cables

A potentially qualifying cable must generally be a substantially complete aircraft ground communication, pushback communication, interphone, or similar cable assembly that has been removed from operational service because of condition, damage, wear, failure, unreliability, or another legitimate operational reason.

Examples may include cables exhibiting:

  • No communication or audio;
  • Intermittent communication;
  • Connector damage;
  • Jacket cracking or splitting;
  • Frayed or exposed conductors;
  • Strain-relief failure;
  • Internal electrical failure;
  • Excessive deformation or stretching;
  • Coil failure;
  • Excessive wear;
  • Other conditions making continued operational use undesirable.

Elevate has sole discretion to determine whether a submitted item qualifies, subject to applicable law.

Submission alone does not establish eligibility.

6. Items That Do Not Qualify

Unless Elevate expressly approves otherwise, the following do not qualify:

  • Loose wire;
  • Scrap cable;
  • Cut cable segments;
  • Individual connectors;
  • Connector pieces;
  • Adapters;
  • Splitters;
  • Headsets;
  • Radios;
  • Batteries;
  • Tools;
  • Unrelated electrical cords;
  • Aircraft components;
  • Packaging;
  • Multiple pieces originating from one cable presented as multiple cables;
  • Counterfeit or intentionally misidentified items;
  • Items not reasonably identifiable as pushback or ground communication cables;
  • Hazardous or contaminated items.

One physical cable assembly cannot be divided into multiple pieces to obtain multiple credits.

7. Ownership and Authority to Surrender Property

By submitting an item, the Participant represents and warrants that:

  1. The Participant owns the item or has lawful authorization from its owner to surrender it;
  2. The Participant has authority to participate in the Program on behalf of the organization identified in the submission;
  3. The item is not stolen;
  4. The item is not subject to an ownership, lease, security, or other third-party interest that prohibits its surrender;
  5. Participation does not violate the Participant’s employer policies, customer agreements, purchasing rules, or contractual obligations.

Elevate may request proof of authorization or ownership.

Elevate may reject any submission when ownership or authority is questionable.

8. Shipping Is Entirely at Participant's Expense

Elevate does not pay inbound shipping.

The Participant is solely responsible for:

  • Packaging;
  • Postage;
  • Shipping charges;
  • Carrier fees;
  • Insurance;
  • Tracking;
  • Customs or duties, where applicable;
  • Any other cost associated with delivering submitted items to Elevate.

No shipping reimbursement will be provided unless expressly authorized in writing by Elevate before shipment.

COD, freight-collect, postage-due, or other shipments requiring Elevate to pay transportation charges may be refused.

Current Program shipping instructions are:

Elevate Aviation, LLC
PO Box 585
Vienna, OH 44473

Participants are responsible for using a carrier and service capable of delivering to the specified address.

9. Risk of Loss During Shipping

The Participant assumes all risk associated with shipment until the package is physically delivered to and accepted at Elevate’s designated receiving location.

Elevate is not responsible for packages or items that are:

  • Lost;
  • Stolen;
  • Delayed;
  • Misdelivered;
  • Damaged in transit;
  • Delivered to the wrong address;
  • Returned by the carrier;
  • Seized;
  • Destroyed;
  • Missing contents;
  • Incorrectly tracked.

The Participant is responsible for pursuing any claim against the applicable shipping carrier.

Elevate strongly recommends using a trackable shipping service.

A carrier record showing “delivered” does not by itself establish the number, identity, condition, or eligibility of the contents of a shipment.

10. Declared Quantity Does Not Determine Credit

The number of cables entered during the online submission process is a declared quantity only.

Program credit is calculated solely from the number of qualifying complete cables that Elevate actually:

  1. Receives;
  2. Identifies;
  3. Inspects; and
  4. Approves.

For example, if a Participant submits a trade-in request for 10 cables but Elevate receives 8 and determines that 6 qualify, the Participant is eligible for six $25 promotional credits, not ten.

Elevate’s receiving and inspection records control in the event of a quantity discrepancy, absent demonstrable error.

11. Inspection

Elevate may inspect, photograph, handle, identify, electrically test, document, and evaluate submitted items as reasonably necessary to administer the Program.

Inspection may include reasonable non-destructive operational or continuity testing.

Submission of an item authorizes such inspection.

Elevate does not guarantee that an item will remain in precisely the same cosmetic condition after normal handling, shipping, unpacking, inspection, testing, repacking, or return transportation.

12. Approval and Ownership of Approved Cables

Once Elevate approves a cable for Program credit, the cable is considered surrendered to Elevate.

Upon approval and issuance of the applicable promotional credit, all right, title, and interest in the approved cable transfers to Elevate Aviation, LLC.

Approved cables will not be returned.

Elevate may thereafter:

  • Retain;
  • Study;
  • Test;
  • Disassemble;
  • Photograph;
  • Analyze;
  • Recycle;
  • Dispose of;
  • Use for research or product-development purposes;
  • Otherwise handle the approved item as Elevate determines appropriate.

The Participant has no continuing ownership claim to an approved cable.

13. Denied Cables

A cable that Elevate determines does not qualify for Program credit may be designated Denied or Declined.

No promotional credit is owed for a denied cable.

Elevate will notify the Participant using the email address associated with the submission.

Return shipping for denied items is NOT paid by Elevate.

If the Participant wants a denied cable returned, the Participant must:

  1. Notify Elevate in writing at support@elevateaviation.us within 14 calendar days after Elevate sends the denial notice; and
  2. Pay all required return shipping costs using the payment method or instructions provided by Elevate.

Elevate is not required to ship denied property until return shipping has been successfully paid in full.

14. Abandoned Denied Property

If the Participant does not request return of a denied item within 14 calendar days after the denial notice is sent, the Participant agrees that the item will be considered abandoned and relinquished.

Elevate may thereafter recycle, dispose of, destroy, retain, or otherwise handle the item without compensation or liability.

If the Participant timely requests a return but subsequently fails to pay requested return shipping charges within 14 calendar days after Elevate provides payment instructions, the property will likewise be considered abandoned.

Elevate is not required to warehouse denied or abandoned property indefinitely.

No compensation, replacement, reimbursement, or credit will be provided for abandoned property.

This closes the loophole where someone says “I want it back” but then never pays the shipping.

15. Return Shipping Risk

Return shipment of a denied item is at the Participant's expense and risk.

Elevate is not responsible for loss, theft, delay, damage, misdelivery, carrier handling, or other events occurring during return transportation after the item is tendered to the carrier.

Elevate may require payment before arranging return shipment.

16. Unsafe, Hazardous, or Contaminated Materials

Participants must not ship:

  • Hazardous materials;
  • Batteries unless specifically authorized;
  • Pressurized containers;
  • Flammable materials;
  • Chemicals;
  • Biohazards;
  • Items contaminated with fuel, oil, bodily fluids, hazardous residue, or other unsafe substances;
  • Any item prohibited by the selected carrier or applicable law.

Elevate may refuse, isolate, return, or immediately dispose of materials that it reasonably determines present a safety, environmental, regulatory, contamination, or handling risk.

Where immediate disposal is reasonably necessary for safety or compliance reasons, the 14-day return period described above need not apply.

To the extent permitted by law, the Participant is responsible for costs and damages caused by shipping prohibited, hazardous, improperly packaged, or unlawfully transported material.

17. Promotional Credit Amount

Each approved qualifying cable earns:

ONE $25 GROUNDCOMM X30 PROMOTIONAL TRADE-IN CREDIT

Each credit may be used one time only.

One qualifying cable earns no more than one $25 credit.

One $25 Trade-In Credit may be applied toward one new GroundComm X30.

Credits cannot be stacked against the same GroundComm X30.

For example:

  • 1 approved cable + 1 X30 = up to $25 credit
  • 5 approved cables + 5 X30s = up to $125 total promotional value
  • 5 approved cables + 1 X30 = maximum $25 credit on that X30

That is how I recommend defining your “no stacking” rule. It protects margin without penalizing a station that trades in ten old cables and buys ten X30s.

Trade-In Credits may not be combined with another promotion, coupon, discount, special pricing agreement, or other offer unless Elevate expressly permits the combination.

18. Credit Expiration

Each Promotional Trade-In Credit expires one year after its stated Issue Date, unless a longer period is required by applicable law.

The expiration date will be communicated with the credit.

No extensions will be provided after expiration, except where required by applicable law or expressly authorized in writing by Elevate.

Unused promotional value is forfeited upon expiration to the extent permitted by applicable law.

This “to the extent permitted by law” language is important because gift-card and promotional-credit laws can vary by jurisdiction. Federal rules impose specific requirements on stored-value gift cards, and state rules can provide additional protections.

19. RampRewards ID and Email Restriction

Each Promotional Trade-In Credit is issued to the RampRewards ID and email address identified in the applicable trade-in submission.

The credit:

  • Is locked to that account/email;
  • May only be redeemed by the authorized RampRewards account holder;
  • Is not transferable;
  • May not be sold;
  • May not be assigned;
  • May not be gifted;
  • May not be auctioned;
  • May not be exchanged between customers or organizations.

The RampRewards account and email used to redeem the credit must match the information associated with the approved trade-in submission.

Elevate may require verification before allowing redemption.

Providing another person with the promotional code does not transfer ownership or eligibility.

20. Eligible Purchase

Credits may be redeemed only toward an eligible GroundComm X30 sold through:

TheCrewHangar.com

Unless Elevate expressly authorizes otherwise, credits cannot be redeemed through:

  • Third-party sellers;
  • Resellers;
  • Marketplaces;
  • Distributors;
  • Amazon;
  • eBay;
  • Another retailer;
  • An unauthorized sales channel.

Elevate may make reasonable technical or administrative changes to the redemption process without changing the approved promotional value.

21. Credit Codes Are Confidential

The Participant is responsible for protecting any issued promotional code.

Elevate may refuse, deactivate, cancel, or replace a code that it reasonably determines has been:

  • Stolen;
  • Duplicated;
  • Shared improperly;
  • Published publicly;
  • Sold;
  • Transferred;
  • Fraudulently obtained;
  • Used contrary to these Terms.

A promotional code is not proof of eligibility if Elevate determines that the code was issued or obtained as a result of fraud, system error, manipulation, or material misrepresentation.

22. Fraud and Program Abuse

Elevate may deny a submission, cancel credit, terminate participation, or prohibit future participation for suspected abuse, including:

  • Misrepresenting quantity;
  • Submitting one cable as multiple cables;
  • Submitting stolen property;
  • Submitting unauthorized employer property;
  • Creating duplicate submissions for the same cable;
  • Manipulating identities or RampRewards accounts;
  • Attempting to sell or transfer credits;
  • Circumventing redemption restrictions;
  • Providing false information;
  • Engaging in fraudulent or deceptive conduct.

Elevate reserves all other rights and remedies available by law.

23. Returns of GroundComm X30 Purchases

If a GroundComm X30 purchased using a Trade-In Credit is later returned, canceled, refunded, charged back, or otherwise reversed, the Participant is not entitled to receive cash for the promotional portion of the original transaction.

Any monetary refund will be based on the amount actually paid, subject to The Crew Hangar's applicable return policy.

Elevate may, but is not obligated to, reissue an unused promotional credit where appropriate and permitted by the applicable return policy.

A promotional credit will never be converted into a cash refund.

24. Taxes

The Participant is responsible for any taxes, duties, charges, reporting obligations, or other liabilities applicable to the Participant's participation or purchase.

The application of a Trade-In Credit does not necessarily reduce taxable value where applicable law requires otherwise.

25. Program Availability

The Program is offered at Elevate's discretion.

Elevate may modify, suspend, pause, limit, or terminate the Program at any time.

Elevate may change:

  • Eligibility criteria;
  • Promotional value for future submissions;
  • Submission procedures;
  • Shipping address;
  • Participating products;
  • Redemption rules;
  • Program availability;
  • Program dates;
  • Other operational terms.

Changes will apply prospectively unless otherwise required by law.

Termination of the Program does not automatically invalidate an otherwise valid, already-issued Promotional Trade-In Credit before its stated expiration date, except in cases of fraud, abuse, error, violation of these Terms, or where otherwise permitted by law.

26. No Guaranteed Availability or Pricing of GroundComm X30

Participation does not guarantee:

  • GroundComm X30 inventory;
  • Immediate availability;
  • A specific delivery date;
  • A particular retail price;
  • A particular cable color or configuration.

The price and availability shown at the time of purchase apply.

A promotional credit does not lock in the current GroundComm X30 selling price.

27. No Warranty Regarding Trade-In Value

Elevate makes no representation that a submitted cable has any particular resale, scrap, market, replacement, or monetary value.

The $25 Program amount is a promotional discount, not an appraisal or representation of the fair-market value of the surrendered equipment.

The Participant voluntarily chooses whether to participate.

28. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Elevate Aviation, LLC and its affiliates, brands, officers, members, employees, contractors, agents, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, exemplary, special, or punitive damages arising from or relating to participation in the Program.

Without limiting the foregoing, Elevate is not liable for:

  • Carrier loss;
  • Carrier theft;
  • Transit damage;
  • Shipping delays;
  • Misdelivery;
  • Lost Submission IDs;
  • Incorrect customer information;
  • Customer email filtering or spam blocking;
  • Failure to redeem a credit before expiration;
  • Unauthorized use caused by a Participant's disclosure of a code.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Elevate's aggregate liability relating to a particular Program submission will not exceed the promotional value properly owed for qualifying cables actually received and approved under that submission.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liabilities that applicable law does not permit the parties to waive or limit.

29. Participant Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Participant agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Elevate Aviation, LLC and its affiliates, employees, representatives, contractors, and agents from claims, damages, losses, costs, or expenses arising from:

  • Participant's lack of ownership or authority to surrender an item;
  • Submission of stolen or third-party property;
  • Shipment of prohibited or hazardous materials;
  • Violation of carrier requirements;
  • Fraudulent participation;
  • Participant's violation of these Terms;
  • Participant's violation of applicable law.

30. Electronic Communications

By participating, the Participant authorizes Elevate to send transactional Program communications to the email address provided, including:

  • Submission confirmations;
  • Shipping instructions;
  • Receiving notices;
  • Requests for information;
  • Inspection results;
  • Approval or denial notices;
  • Return-shipping instructions;
  • Promotional-credit information.

These transactional communications are necessary to administer the Program and are separate from optional marketing communications.

The Participant is responsible for providing an accurate email address and monitoring it, including spam or junk folders.

31. Electronic Acceptance and Records

Checking the Program acceptance box and submitting the online form constitutes the Participant’s electronic acceptance of these Terms.

Elevate may retain records documenting:

  • Date and time of acceptance;
  • Submission ID;
  • Submitted information;
  • Terms version;
  • Email address;
  • RampRewards ID;
  • Inspection records;
  • Photographs;
  • Approval status;
  • Promotional credits issued and redeemed.

I strongly recommend storing a hidden field such as:

Terms Version: INOP-TC-2026-08-v1.0

with every submission.

32. Governing Law and Venue

Except where applicable law requires otherwise, these Terms and the Program will be governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any legal proceeding relating to the Program that is not subject to a legally required alternative venue shall be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in Nevada.

I would have your Nevada business attorney specifically approve this section before launch. Because your receiving operation is in Ohio and the Program may be used nationwide, choice-of-law and venue deserve actual counsel review rather than treating boilerplate as bulletproof.

33. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

34. No Waiver

Elevate's failure to enforce any provision of these Terms on one occasion does not waive its right to enforce that provision or any other provision later.

35. Entire Program Terms

These Terms, together with any applicable submission instructions and clearly disclosed Program conditions, constitute the agreement governing participation in the Program.

No employee, representative, advertisement, social-media post, telephone conversation, or other communication modifies these Terms unless Elevate expressly agrees to the modification in writing.
